Some years there are events in which dozens or even hundreds of skateboarders take over the streets of towns all over the world.But this is not "some year"! I would expect that most places would frown upon a just-for-fun mass event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the other hand, youths tend to follow social distancing rules less well than older people do - AND they tend to fare better with the virus - so it's possible that skateboarders will still celebrate this year. Also, with all the people taking to streets to protest police brutality, I expect to see some "More Skate, Less Hate" skateboarders at protests and marches.
