April 20 - Take Your Parents to the Playground Day

In a lot of places, Easter Sunday is a day off of work and school (although, to be honest, EVERY Sunday is a day off of work and school in many of those same places).


But Easter is one of the most important holidays is one of the most far-flung religions, so in some places the Friday before and the Monday after Easter are ALSO days off work (Good Friday and Easter Monday). And with all those days off, why not ALSO take the Saturday of that loooong weekend off, as well?

Well, someone enshrined this idea by making the Saturday before Easter "Take Your Parents to the Playground Day."

And maybe make it extra special...By packing the awesomest of awesome picnics? 




Or by researching local parks to discover a playground you've never been to?

Or by researching regional parks to discover the best-rated playground?
