September 21 - World Gratitude Day

Posted on September 21, 2018

Today's holiday got started in 1965 at an international conference held in Hawaii.

It seems awfully similar to International Thank You Day (celebrated in January)...

Not to mention World Thank You Day (celebrated in June) and all the various Thanksgiving Days celebrated by various peoples in various nations at various times of the year - pant, pant!

Still, how bad can it be to have loads of opportunities to count one's blessings, say thank you to the people who deserve it, and feel gratitude for the amazing and beautiful and fun things in the world?

What are you grateful for?

I'm grateful for the telescopes in space...

...and warm chocolate chip cookies...

For waterfalls and karst landscapes...

...and babies...

Lindsey Stirling

...and powerful dancing...

Michael Dameski
For Steven Gould's science fiction...

...and Kakuro number puzzles...

Of course, I'm grateful for my families and friends and my health. I'm grateful for a LOT of things...!
