A Tuesday in April

Today is the day that a woman working full time will FINALLY make the amount of money that a man working full time made the year before.
Of course, I'm talking about averages here. Some women earn as much or even more than others, including men, who work their same job.
But averages do tell a story: women have to work longer for the same amount of money. Actually, it's pretty horrifying that most women still make so much less than men that they have to work more than a year-and-a-quarter to make as much as a man makes in year.
Hopefully, this holiday will help close this gap.
