When you hear the word "beautiful," do you automatically think of stocky, short-legged bodies? Wrinkly faces? Sheets of slobber?
No?
Well, bulldog owners might disagree. At any rate, the ones who created this holiday do.
Today's the day for bulldog owners to give their beloved pets special treats, food-wise or activity-wise. The rest of us can think long and hard about what "beauty" really means...
Is beauty always "in the eye of the beholder"? Or are there things almost all of us agree are beautiful?

I would be interested to see if people from all cultures find, say, a swan more beautiful than a pigeon. I'm pretty sure that everyone finds a swan more beautiful than a vulture!
