There's a place in England that has inspired people such as artist William Blake, playwright J.M. Barrie, novelist Jane Austen, and poet John Keats...

...A place that has largely been officially designated an Area of Outstanding Beauty...

...A place that is criss-crossed with areas that the public has the "right to roam" over (not with motor vehicles, bikes, or on horseback - but the public can walk on certain designated parts of privately-owned land!).

Sussex is located in the 
This place is Sussex, and today is the special day dedicated to celebrating it. 

Sussex is located in the Southeast of England. It's divided into two counties, East Sussex and West Sussex.







The day is celebrated by many residents and tourists as entertainment and events showcase all the good things about Sussex.
