February 2 – Crepe Day

In France, today is Le Jour des Crêpes.

In other words, today is utterly delicious!

Crepes can be anything – breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or dessert! They can be sweet or savory, fruity or meaty, simple or incredibly complex.

Today's legend says that, if you can catch a crepe in a frying pan after tossing it in the air with your right hand – while holding a gold coin in your left hand! – you will become rich that year.

But...I think that, if you eat crepes today, you stand a good chance of being happy...today.


What are crepes?
Crepes are thin pancakes made with flour, eggs, milk, butter, and a pinch of salt.
