August 14 - World Calligraphy Day

Beautiful lettering - artistry in writing something special - personalizing a gift - lifting anything from an invitation to a place card from nice to magnificent - all of this and more is calligraphy.

The definition of calligraphy is decorative handwriting. People can create calligraphy using special chisel-tip felt pens, brush pens, broad-nib pens that are dipped into ink, or brushes and ink.
