This version included more than 80 musical artists, including everyone from Justin Bieber and Pink to Celine Dion and Tony Bennet, from Lil Wayne and Janet Jackson to Snoop Dogg and Busta Rhymes, from Usher and Kanye West to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, from Barbra Streisand and Jennifer Hudson to Fergie and Mary Mary, from Enrique Iglesias to Carlos Santana. A Spanish version of the song (“Somos el Mundo”) was recorded by a Latin supergroup.

request, so that he could be a part of the Haitian benefit.)
